NK Amin, Former deputy superintendent of police, being an accused, will turn approver in the ongoing Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) case for Sohrabuddin Sheikh in a staged shootout.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court is also hearing a plea by the probe agency to question former Gujarat minister Amit Shah, who is charged with alleged involvement in Sohrabuddin ’s killing, in judicial custody.

Amit Shah was sent to judicial custody by the court Sunday for 14 days after he surrendered before it.
